I am going to Ayia Napa, Cyprus.
I plan on going through the whole Cyprus, and discovering the hidden gems within this island.

It is a perfect destination for pure relaxation and good food. nothing more.

I am going to Ayia Napa in Cyprus next month and as usual I need your help.
Where to go? What to do? Where to Eat? Where to Party?
I need to live the Cyprus experience and not fall into tourist traps.
I want to see the real places.

A long time ago, before I had ever traveled, people warned me that I would get hooked.
I laughed them off.
Today it’s 5 years after my first vacation, 1 month after my last travel and 1 month ahead from my next travel, and I find myself craving the need to fly off into some unknown paradise.
I have developed a knack for researching and planning travel itineraries ahead of time.
I currently have enough travel schedules to cover 2 lifetimes!

so far I have been to Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Germany, Vietnam, Philippines…
I have such a long way to go before I visit every country in the world.

my dilemma is the following: I just started a new job and I have almost nothing to do all day and its driving me crazy. This is why I decided to engage with other people online with a similar concern.

So there you are again, standing alone in an empty secluded corner, trying to remain invisible; Doing your usual best to avoid being seen by any of your cool classmates. I don’t need to hear their sarcastic comments today. i do not need to be reminded of how dorky and stupid i look and/or sound today. my life is a joke, because the universe hates me.
you go back to class, sit in the back, alone on a couple’s desk. because of course you have no friends, you wonder if anyone in this class even knows your name.
you’re home. your mother asks about your day, you respond by it was fine, which doesnt take her by surprise you were never a talker.
it’s your 12th birthday. the whole family is here. you blow the candles wondering why life is so horrible.
you’re in bed every night. you say your prayers, and declare to god that you are ready to go. this life does not interest you. you want out.

You find yourself wondering why now? what is it that made you decide that now is the time to share, you gaze into the past and you see millions of papers written in moments of sadness, happiness love and despair, bits and pieces thrown here and there, mostly lost through times…but why just now are you sitting here logged into some website you don’t really understand, with people you will most definitely never meet, going on and on about a part of yourself that you have never shared with anyone ever before…
there are times where you will need to shoot out you feelings into a crowd that isn’t listening, the satisfaction of having it all out in the open, the naked truth, out there, with no one to grasp it…because the knowledge seekers are not tuned in here and those who are, presumably do not care…
Our story takes place in a tiny country which name won’t be mentioned here today because most of you readers will not even know it. In this microscopic country lived a person whose tale is worth being heard around the world.
Growing up, our hero knew he was destined for great things, as all kids are at some point in life, but our hero had it differently, he knew for sure, and as he grew older his certainty grew stronger and clearer.
He was smart, nobody could ever argue that, anyone who ever met him would testify that he was dangerously gifted. That being said he went through is first couple of decades being the star in the making; everybody predicted great things for him. And as years went by, our hero was still waiting for his greatness to mature and show, every day and every night he thought of new ideas, new strategies to make it and bring his powers to the public, but dreams are just dreams when you lack the means to make them come true, when you lack exposure to the people who might realize what you can achieve.
And in that very small country where our hero lived, nobody cared about heroes… all they wanted was money! And our hero did not have any money to attract anybodies attention. So he stayed at home, day after day, praying for a miracle to fly him out of this hole into a better tomorrow, a future that our hero is certain, is coming; but simply he was starting to get alarmed about its lateness.
They tell you, in life you will achieve only what you dream of, some people dream of owning a company so they end up owning a company and that’s their dream coming true. Our hero dreams of the world, he dreams of making a difference, he dreams of meeting everyone, seeing everything, having everything and living life to its fullest.
Now our hero might never achieve what he dreamt of, and whatever life gives him will not be enough because they are no match to his dream. But on the other hand, can you blame someone for dreaming?
So there you are left with a choice, as you are on the verge of choosing your dream, do you settle for a reasonable dream, one you are sure to achieve; or do you make the jump and reach for the stars and risk living the rest of your life in despair from falling back empty handed?
